Subtitle A of title II of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 ( 25 U.S.C. 4131 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Director of the Indian Health Service, or a recipient receiving funding for a housing construction or renovation project under this title, may use funding from the Indian Health Service for the construction of sanitation facilities under that project. . The table of contents in section 1(b) of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 ( Public Law 104–330 ; 110 Stat. 4016) is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 210 the following:
