Section 3252 of the National Nuclear Security Administration Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2452 ) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: Subject to the direction of the President, the Administrator shall, after consultation with the Secretary of Defense, ensure that the budget of the Administration is adequate to satisfy the nuclear weapons needs of the Department of Defense, including the nuclear weapons needs of the United States Strategic Command, the military departments, and other components of the Department of Defense, as appropriate. .
