Sec. 9503. Reports on recommendations of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission

In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Armed Services, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Homeland Security, the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, each head of an agency described in subsection
(c)shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the recommendations included in the report issued by the Cyberspace Solarium Commission under section 1652(k) of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ). The agencies described in this subsection are the following: The Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The Department of Homeland Security. The Department of Energy. The Department of Commerce. The Department of Defense. Each report submitted under subsection
(b)by the head of an agency described in subsection
(c)shall include the following: An evaluation of the recommendations in the report described in subsection
(b)that the agency identifies as pertaining directly to the agency. A description of the actions taken, or the actions that the head of the agency may consider taking, to implement any of the recommendations (including a comprehensive estimate of requirements for appropriations to take such actions).
