The Secretary of Defense shall conduct a study on the use of additive manufacturing and three-dimensional bioprinting across the Military Health System. The study required by subsection
(a)shall examine the activities currently underway by each of the military services and the Department agencies, including costs, sources of funding, oversight, collaboration, and outcomes. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives a report on the results of the study conducted under subsection (a).
