Not later than August 15, 2021, the Secretary of the Army shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on the Integrated Visual Augmentation System
(IVAS)subsequent to the completion of operational testing. The report required by paragraph
(1)shall include the following: Certification of the IVAS acquisition strategy, to include production model costs, full rate production schedule, and identification of any changes resulting from operational testing. Certification of technology levels being utilized in the full rate production model. Certification of operational suitability and soldier acceptability of the production model IVAS. Not more than 50 percent of the amounts authorized to be appropriated by this Act for fiscal year 2021 for procurement of the Integrated Visual Augmentation System may be obligated or expended until the Secretary submits to the congressional defense committees the report required under subsection (a).
