Section 350 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 ( Public Law 115–254 ; 49 U.S.C 44809 note) is amended in the section heading, by striking and inserting at institutions of higher education ; and for educational purposes in subsection (a)— by striking aircraft system operated by and inserting the following: “aircraft system— operated by ; in paragraph (1), as added by subparagraph (A), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: flown as part of the established curriculum of an elementary school or secondary school (as such terms are defined in section 8101 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 7801 )); flown as part of an established Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program; or flown as part of an educational program that is chartered by a recognized community-based organization (as defined in subsection
(h)of such section). .
