A covered agricultural producer shall, during the covered period, provide all agricultural workers of the covered agricultural producer with emergency paid sick leave, in the same manner as emergency paid sick leave is provided under division E of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ( 29 U.S.C. 2601 note), without regard to the number of employees employed by the covered agricultural producer. For purposes of section 7001(c) of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ( 26 U.S.C. 3111 note), paid sick leave required to be provided under subsection
(a)by covered agricultural producers employing 500 or less employees shall be treated as required to be paid by reason of the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.
