During the COVID–19 emergency period, the Commissioner shall not promulgate or revise (and shall suspend any activities related to the promulgation or revision of) any regulation relating to— the frequency of continuing disability reviews under title II or XVI of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 401 et seq., 1381 et seq.); the authority of administrative appeals judges of the Social Security Administration; or the medical-vocational guidelines for determining whether an individual is disabled for purposes of title II or XVI of the Social Security Act.
