Section 1104(b) of the America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 ( 33 U.S.C. 2282d note; Public Law 115–270 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(1)through
(4)as subparagraphs
(A)through (D), respectively, and indenting appropriately; in the matter preceding subparagraph
(A)(as so redesignated), by striking The Secretary and inserting the following: The Secretary ; and by adding at the end the following: Not less frequently than annually, the Secretary shall provide to the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives a briefing on the progress of the implementation of paragraph (1), including a description of each action the Secretary is taking to implement that paragraph. The Secretary shall— issue guidance on the uniform implementation of the process under section 7001 of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 ( 33 U.S.C. 2282d ) by each district of the Corps of Engineers; and each year, ensure compliance with the guidance under subparagraph (A). .
