The amendments made by this title take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and apply with respect to a worker in a group of workers certified as eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under section 222 of the Trade Act of 1974 ( 19 U.S.C. 2272 ) before, on, or after such date of enactment. A worker who began receiving benefits under subchapter B of chapter 2 of title II of the Trade Act of 1974 ( 19 U.S.C. 2291 et seq.) before the date of the enactment of this Act shall receive benefits under such subchapter, as amended by this title, for any week beginning on and after that date during which the worker is eligible for such benefits under such chapter, as so amended.
