Section 302 of the Older Americans Act of 1965 ( 42 U.S.C. 3022 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs

(2)through

(4)as paragraphs

(3)through (5), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph

(1)the following: The term COVID–19 public health emergency period means the portion of the emergency period defined in paragraph (1)(B) of section 1135(g) of the Social Security Act beginning on or after the date of the enactment of this Act. .
