Sec. 12. Additional appropriations for the election assistance commission

In addition to any funds otherwise appropriated to the Election Assistance Commission for fiscal year 2020, there is authorized to be appropriated $3,000,000 for fiscal year 2020 in order for the Commission to provide additional assistance and resources to States for improving the administration of elections. Amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization under this subsection shall remain available without fiscal year limitation.
