Section 501(b) ( 50 U.S.C. 1861(b) ), as amended by section 101(a)(1) of this Act, is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: for an order seeking information concerning a known United States person shall demonstrate probable cause to believe that the person— is an agent of a foreign power; or has been or will soon be involved in an act of terrorism or in clandestine intelligence activities in violation of the law. .
