Section 602(b)(2)(B)(ii) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1122(b)(2)(B)(ii) ) is amended— in subclause (III), by striking or at the end; in subclause (IV), by striking the period and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: the beginning, intermediate, or advanced study of a foreign language related to the graduate student's area of specialization. .
