Section 1923(f)(7)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396r–4(f)(7)(A) ) is amended— in clause (i), in the matter preceding subclause (I), by striking For the period beginning and all that follows through 2025 and inserting For the period beginning December 21, 2020, and ending September 30, 2021, and for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2028 ; and in clause (ii)— by amending subclause
(I)to read as follows: $8,000,000,000 for the period beginning December 21, 2020, and ending September 30, 2021; and ; and in subclause (II), by striking fiscal years 2021 through 2025 and inserting fiscal years 2022 through 2028 .
