Section 103 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5104 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by striking effective programs and inserting evidence-based and evidence-informed programs ; by redesignating paragraphs

(5)through (10), respectively; by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following: maintain and disseminate information on best practices to support children being cared for by kin, including such children whose living arrangements with kin occurred without the involvement of a child welfare agency; ; in paragraph (5), as so redesignated, by inserting , including efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect before the semicolon; in paragraph (7), as so redesignated— in subparagraph (A), by striking the semicolon and inserting , including among at-risk populations, such as young parents, parents with young children, and parents who are adult former victims of domestic violence or child abuse or neglect; and ; by striking subparagraph (B); by redesignating subparagraph
