Section 121 of the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 ( 34 U.S.C. 20124 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by adding at the end the following: In addition to the amounts made available under paragraph (1), there are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $2,200,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2029. ; and in subsection (b)(2)— in subparagraph (G), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (H), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: developing, enlarging, or strengthening culturally specific victim services for and responses to female genital mutilation or cutting, honor violence, forced marriage, and child marriage. .
The amendments made by subsection (a)(2) shall not take effect until October 1, 2020.
