Subtitle G of the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982 ( 42 U.S.C. 10174 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following new section: In providing any funding to institutions of higher education from the Waste Fund, the Secretary shall prioritize institutions of higher education that are located in the State of Nevada. In this section, the term institution of higher education has the meaning given that term in section 101 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1001 ). .
