Effective on the date of the enactment of this Act, any waiver of the application of sanctions provided for under sections 1244, 1245, 1246, and 1247 of the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8803 , 8804, 8805, and 8806) for or to enable an activity described in subsection
(b)is terminated, and the President may not issue a new such waiver for such an activity on or after such date of enactment. An activity described in this subsection is a nuclear activity in or with Iran with respect to which a waiver described in subsection
(a)was issued in connection with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, including the following: The Arak reactor redesign. The transfer into Iran of enriched uranium for the Tehran Research Reactor. The modification of 2 centrifuge cascades at the Fordow facility for nonsensitive purposes. In this section, the term Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action means the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed at Vienna on July 14, 2015, by Iran and by France, Germany, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and all implementing materials and agreements related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
