Section 40801 of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 ( 34 U.S.C. 12421 )— in the heading, by striking and inserting Enhanced training ; Training by striking subsection and all that follows through paragraph

(a)Definitions The Attorney General shall make grants to eligible entities in accordance with the following: ; by redesignating paragraphs

(1)(as redesignated by paragraph
(3)of this subsection)— by striking , including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, exploitation, and neglect each place it appears; in subparagraph (A)— in clause (i), by inserting after elder abuse the following: and abuse in later life ; in clauses
(ii)and (iii), by inserting after victims of the following: elder abuse and ; and in clause (iv), by striking advocates, victim service providers, and courts to better serve victims of abuse in later life and inserting leaders, victim advocates, victim service providers, courts, and first responders to better serve older victims ; in subparagraph (B)— in clause (i), by striking or other community-based organizations in recognizing and addressing instances of abuse in later life and inserting community-based organizations, or other professionals who may identify or respond to abuse in later life ; and in clause (ii), by inserting after victims of the following: elder abuse and ; and in subparagraph (D), by striking subparagraph (B)(ii) and inserting paragraph (2)(B) ; in paragraph
(2)(as redesignated by paragraph (3))— in subparagraph (A), by striking over 50 years of age and inserting 50 years of age or over ; and in subparagraph (B), by striking in later life and inserting 50 years of age or over ; and in paragraph
(4)(as redesignated by paragraph (3)), by striking 2014 through 2018 and inserting 2021 through 2025 .
