Section 1301 of division B of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 ( 34 U.S.C. 12464 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (7), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (8)— by striking to improve and inserting improve ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following: develop and implement an alternative justice response (as such term is defined in section 40002(a) of the Violence Against Women Act of 1994). ; and in subsection (e), by striking 2014 through 2018 and inserting 2021 through 2025 .
