Section 323 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ) is amended— by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); and by inserting after subsection
(b)the following new subsection (c): Notwithstanding subsection (b), the Secretary of the Navy shall ensure that the U.S.S. Shiloh (CG-67) is assigned a homeport in the United States by not later than September 30, 2023. .
