Section 25 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2034 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by inserting including amounts made available under subsection
(i)to carry out this section, after Act, ; and in paragraph (2)(D), by striking $5,000,000 and inserting $25,000,000 ; in subsection (d)— in paragraph (4), by striking or at the end; in paragraph (5)(C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: address food security in urban low-income communities by making those communities more climate resilient through the creation or expansion of urban farms, community gardens, and rooftop gardens that grow produce for personal use or for local sale through farm stands, farmers’ markets, community supported agriculture subscriptions, and other delivery methods. ; and by adding at the end the following: Of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall use to carry out this section $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2020 and each fiscal year thereafter, to remain available until expended. .
