Section 312(b)(4) of title 14, United States Code, is amended by striking marine transportation system and inserting maritime transportation system . Section 506 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by inserting as established under after chapter 56 of title 10 Medicare-Eligible Retiree Health Care Fund ; and in subsection (b)(1), by striking operating expenses and inserting operations and support . Section 903 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a), by striking acquisition, construction, and improvement of facilities, for research, development, test, and evaluation; and for the alteration of bridges over the navigable waters and inserting procurement, construction, and improvement of facilities and for research and development ; and in subsection (d)(1), amended by section 241(b)(1), by striking operating expenses and inserting operations and support .
Section 914(c)(2)(A) of title 14, United States Code, is amended by striking Environmental Compliance and Restoration and inserting Operations and Support . Section 944 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— by striking necessary expenses for the operation and inserting the operations and support ; and by striking his each place it appears and inserting the Commandant's . Section 2701 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— by striking operating expenses and inserting operations and support ; by striking but not limited to ; and by striking in order .
Section 4901 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking maintenance and inserting support ; in paragraph (2), by striking acquisition and inserting procurement ; by striking paragraphs (3), (4), and (6); by redesignating paragraph
(5)as paragraph (3); and in paragraph (3), as redesignated by subparagraph (D), by striking research, development, test, and evaluation and inserting research and development. . Section 1110 of title 14, United States Code— is transferred to appear after section 5108 of such title; and is redesignated as section 5109. The analysis for chapter 11 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to section 1110. The analysis for chapter 51 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: 5109. Mission need statement. . Section 401 of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2010 ( Public Law 111–281 ) is amended by striking subsection (e).
