An individual or entity engaged in researching marihuana or its components shall store it in a securely locked, substantially constructed cabinet. Any other security measures required by the Attorney General to safeguard against diversion shall be consistent with those required for practitioners conducting research on other controlled substances in schedules I and II in section 202(c) of the Controlled Substances Act ( 21 U.S.C. 812(c) ) that have a similar risk of diversion and abuse.
