Section 1149 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2016 ( 33 U.S.C. 1223 note) amended— by striking recreational in each place it appears and inserting covered ; and by amending subsection
(c)to read as follows: In this section: The term covered navigation channel means a navigation channel that— is federally marked or maintained; is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway; and is adjacent to a marina. The term covered vessel means a recreational vessel or an uninspected passenger vessel, as such terms are defined in section 2101 of title 46, United States Code. .
