Section 890 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ) is amended— by striking subsection (b); by redesignating subsections
(c)and
(d)as subsections
(b)and (c), respectively; in subsection (b), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking and an assessment of whether the program should be continued or expanded ; and in subsection (c), as so redesignated, by striking January 2, 2021 and inserting January 2, 2023 .
