Title XVII of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 ( Public Law 111–84 ; 123 Stat. 2567) is amended— in section 1701(a)— by striking Subject to subsection (b), the and inserting The ; by striking subsection (b); and by redesignating subsections
(c)through
(f)as subsections
(b)through (e), respectively; in section 1702(a)(1), by striking hereafter in this title and inserting in this section ; in section 1703, in subsections
(a)and (c), by striking the facility and inserting the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center ; in section 1704— in subsections (a)(3), (a)(4)(A), and (b)(1), by striking the facility and inserting the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center ; and in subsection (e), as most recently amended by section 731 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ), by striking September 30, 2020 and inserting September 30, 2021 ; in section 1705— in subsection (a), by striking the facility and inserting the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (in this section referred to as the ; JALFHCC ) in subsection (b), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking the facility and inserting the JALFHCC ; and in subsection (c)— by striking the facility each place it appears and inserting the JALFHCC ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: To permit the JALFHCC to enter into personal services contracts to carry out health care responsibilities in the JALFHCC to the same extent and subject to the same conditions and limitations as apply under section 1091 of title 10, United States Code, to the Secretary of Defense with respect to health care responsibilities in medical treatment facilities of the Department of Defense. .
