Not later than January 31, 2020, the Secretary of the Air Force shall provide the congressional defense committees a briefing on the Air Force's plans to increase the readiness of the B–1 bomber aircraft. The briefing required under subsection
(a)shall include the following elements: A description of aircraft structural issues. A plan for continued structural deficiency data analysis and training. Projected repair timelines. Future mitigation strategies. An aircrew maintainer training plan, including a plan to ensure that the training pipeline remains steady, for any degradation period. A recovery timeline to meet future deployment tasking. A plan for continued upgrades and improvements.
