Sec. 3037. Requirements relating to move out and maintenance with respect to privatized military housing

Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of each military department, shall— develop a uniform move-out checklist for tenants of privatized military housing throughout the Department of Defense to assist the oversight of such housing by the housing management office of the installation at which such housing is located; develop a uniform checklist throughout the Department for the validation by the housing management office of the completion of all maintenance work related to health and safety issues at privatized military housing; and require that all maintenance issues and work orders related to health and safety issues at privatized military housing be reported to the commander of the installation at which the housing is located.
