Sec. 1051. Modification of annual reporting requirements on defense manpower

Section 115a of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking the first two sentences and inserting the following new sentence: Not later than April 1 each year, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to Congress a defense manpower profile report. ; in paragraph (1), by adding and at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking ; and and inserting a period; and by striking paragraph (3); in subsection (b)— by striking
(1); and by striking paragraphs
(2)and (3); in subsection (c), by striking the following: and all that follows and inserting the manpower required for support and overhead functions within the armed forces and the Department of Defense. ; by striking subsections
