Section 476(p) of title 37, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking armed forces and inserting uniformed services ; in paragraph (2), by striking $500 and inserting $1,000 ; in paragraph (3)— in subparagraph (A), by striking and ; in subparagraph (B), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: an analysis of whether the maximum reimbursement amount under paragraph
(2)is sufficient to cover the average costs of relicensing described in paragraph (1). ; and in paragraph (4), by striking December 31, 2022 and inserting December 31, 2024 .
