Subsection
(f)of section 801 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 ( Public Law 111–84 ; 123 Stat. 2399) is amended by striking December 31, 2019 and inserting December 31, 2021 . Such section, as so amended, is further amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than March 1, 2020, and March 1, 2021, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on the use of the authority provided in subsection (a). The report shall address, at a minimum, the following: The number of determinations made by the Secretary pursuant to subsection (b). A description of the products and services acquired using the authority. The extent to which the use of the authority has met the objectives of subparagraph (A), (B), or
(C)of subsection (b)(2). A list of the countries providing products or services as a result of a determination made pursuant to subsection (b). For purposes of this subsection, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the congressional defense committees; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate. .
