In this Act: The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate. The term denuclearization refers to the complete, verified, and irreversible dismantlement of North Korea’s nuclear weapons programs and programs related to the delivery mechanisms for nuclear weapons, including ballistic missile programs.
The term Government of North Korea means the Government of North Korea and its agencies, instrumentalities, and controlled entities. The term North Korea means the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The term Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty means the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, done at Washington, London, and Moscow July 1, 1968 (21 UST 483). The term South Korea means the Republic of Korea. The term Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations means the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, done at Vienna April 18, 1961.
