Section 1414 of the Safe Drinking Water Act ( 42 U.S.C. 300g–3 ) (as amended by section 4(c)(1)) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Administrator shall issue a final rule that establishes requirements for electronic submission— by public water systems of all compliance monitoring data— to the Administrator; or with respect to a public water system in a State that has primary enforcement responsibility under section 1413, to that State; and by each State that has primary enforcement responsibility under section 1413 to the Administrator of all compliance monitoring data submitted by a public water system to the State under paragraph (1)(B). .
