Section 890 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ) is amended— by striking subsection (b); by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (b); in subsection
(b)(as so redesignated), by striking and an assessment of whether the program should be continued or expanded ; by inserting after subsection
(b)(as so redesignated) the following new subsection: For purposes of developing and submitting the report required by subsection (b), the Department of Defense shall not be subject to the requirements of section 3507 of title 44, United States Code. ; and in subsection (d), by striking January 2, 2021 and inserting January 2, 2023 .
