During the public health emergency declared by the Secretary pursuant to section 319 of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 247d ) on January 31, 2020, with respect to COVID–19, the Secretary, acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, shall maintain a toll-free telephone number to address public health queries, including questions concerning COVID–19. To carry out this section, there is authorized to be appropriated $10,000,000, to remain available until expended.
