In this Act: The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Foreign Relations and the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate. The term foreign person has the meaning given that term in section 1262 of the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2656 note).
