In this Act: The term Board of Governors means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The term Commission means the Securities and Exchange Commission. The term Corporation means the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The term covered bank means— a public lending bank (as defined in section 101(b)); a public payment bank (as defined in section 101(c)); and a non-federally chartered bank (as defined in section 102(b)) that obtains a certificate of Federal recognition under section 102.
The term public member bank means a covered bank that is a member of the Federal Reserve System. The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Treasury. The term State means each of the several States, the District of Columbia, and any commonwealth, territory, or possession of the United States.
