Subsection
(a)of section 2006 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 607 ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by inserting States and high-risk urban areas expend after that ; and by striking is used ; in paragraph (2), by amending subparagraph
(I)to read as follows: activities as determined appropriate by the Administrator, in coordination with the Assistant Secretary for State and Local Law Enforcement within the Office of Partnership and Engagement of the Department, through outreach to relevant stakeholder organizations; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The Administrator, in coordination with the Assistant Secretary for State and Local Law Enforcement, shall report annually from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal year 2022 on the use of grants under sections 2003 and 2004 for law enforcement terrorism prevention activities authorized under this section, including the percentage and dollar amount of funds used for such activities and the types of projects funded. . Subsection
(b)section 2006 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 607 ) is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking Policy Directorate and inserting Office of Partnership and Engagement ; and in paragraph (4)— in subparagraph (B), by inserting , including through consultation with such agencies regarding Department programs that may impact such agencies before the semicolon at the end; and in subparagraph (D), by striking ensure and inserting certify .
