The Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration shall develop passenger self-screening solutions for PreCheck passengers in a manner which— does not reduce the overall security posture of the checkpoint; and improves the efficiency and overall effectiveness of the checkpoint. Not later than 180 days after the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter for 5 years, the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration shall submit to the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on the status of the requirements described in subsection (a).
