The Secretary of State shall ensure that each United States chief of mission has available appropriate personnel and resources to provide translation services for such chief of mission and the ability to translate content into local languages. Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter for a period of five years, the Secretary of State shall notify the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate of any United States diplomatic or consular posts that do not have permanent capabilities to provide translation services to the chief of mission of such a post or translate content into local languages.
