Section 810 of the David L. Boren National Security Education Act of 1991 ( 50 U.S.C. 1910 ) is amended— in subsection (c), by striking for each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 2005, and inserting for each of fiscal years 2005 through 2021 ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection: In addition to amounts that may be made available to the Secretary under the Fund for a fiscal year, there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 2022, $8,000,000, to carry out the scholarship, fellowship, and grant programs under subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C), respectively, of section 802(a)(1). .
Section 811 of such Act ( 50 U.S.C. 1911 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking $10,000,000 and inserting $16,000,000 ; and in subsection (b), by striking for each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 2005, and inserting for each of fiscal years 2005 through 2021 . Section 812 of the David L. Boren National Security Education Act of 1991 ( 50 U.S.C. 1912 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking for each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 2005, and inserting for each of fiscal years 2005 through 2021 ; by redesignating subsection
(b)as subsection (c); by inserting after subsection
(a)the following new subsection (b): In addition to amounts that may be made available to the Secretary under the Fund for a fiscal year, there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 2022, $2,000,000, to carry out the scholarship programs for English language studies by certain heritage community citizens under section 802(a)(1)(E). ; and in subsection (c), as so redesignated, by striking subsection
(a)and inserting this section .
