Section 7(a) of the Mineral Leasing Act ( 30 U.S.C. 207(a) ) is amended in the fourth sentence by striking 12 and inserting 1/2 per centum 18 . 3/4 percent Section 14 of the Mineral Leasing Act ( 30 U.S.C. 223 ) is amended in the fourth sentence by striking 12 and inserting 1/2 per centum 18 . 3/4 percent Section 17 of the Mineral Leasing Act ( 30 U.S.C. 226 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1)(A), in the fifth sentence, by striking 12.5 percent and inserting 18 ; and 3/4 percent in paragraph (2)(A)(ii), by striking 12 and inserting 1/2 per centum 18 ; 3/4 percent in subsection (c)(1), in the second sentence, by striking 12.5 percent and inserting 18 ; 3/4 percent in subsection (l), by striking 12 each place it appears and inserting 1/2 per centum 18 ; and 3/4 percent in subsection (n)(1)(C), by striking 12 and inserting 1/2 per centum 18 . 3/4 percent
