Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate a report that evaluates— the existing allocations of storage space for Rathbun Lake, authorized pursuant to the Flood Control Act of 1954 (68 Stat. 1262; 121 Stat. 1124), including the existing allocation for municipal water supply; the feasibility of expanding the existing allocation of storage for municipal water supply; and the affordability of future municipal water supply allocations from Rathbun Lake, for residential users of such future allocations, at projected future costs.
