It is the sense of Congress that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting should, to the extent possible under the agreement entered by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the Department of Education under section 4643 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 7293 ), provide programming to preschool, elementary, and secondary school children that promotes digital literacy during the period in which such children are unable to attend school due to the COVID–19 pandemic.
