Section 5110(1) is further amended— in subparagraph

(E)by striking or after Code; ; by redesignating subparagraph

(F)as subparagraph (H); and by inserting after subparagraph

(E)the following: notwithstanding sections 7421(a) or 7425(b) of title 38, United States Code, or any other provision of law, an employee of the Department of Veterans Affairs (including employees under chapter 74 of such title); any employee of the Transportation Security Administration, including an employee under 111(d) of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act ( 49 U.S.C. 44935 note); or .
