Sec. 190606. Clarification of oversight and implementation of Relief for Workers Affected by Coronavirus Act

Notwithstanding section 2115 of the Relief for Workers Affected by Coronavirus Act (subtitle A of title II of division A of Public Law 116–136 ), the authority of the Inspector General of the Department of Labor to carry out audits, investigations, and other oversight activities that are related to the provisions of such Act shall not extend to any activities related to sections 2112, 2113, or 2114 of such Act. Such authority with respect to such sections shall belong to the Inspector General of the Railroad Retirement Board.
Notwithstanding section 2116(b) of the Relief for Workers Affected by Coronavirus Act (subtitle A of title II of division A of Public Law 116–136 ), the authority of the Secretary of Labor to issue any operating instructions or other guidance necessary to carry out the provisions of such Act shall not extend to any activities related to sections 2112, 2113, or 2114 of such Act. Such authority with respect to such sections shall belong to the Railroad Retirement Board.
