Section 1115(d) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1315(d) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, the Secretary shall approve an application for a demonstration project under this section to the extent that such project allows an individual whose income (as determined under section 1902(e)(14)) does not exceed 300 percent of the poverty line (as defined in section 2110(c)(5)) applicable to a family of the size involved, to enroll under the State plan (or waiver of such plan) under title XIX of the State submitting such application. .
