Section 16301(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking 15 percent or $500 and inserting 20 percent or $1,000 . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply with respect to loan repayment under section 16301 of title 10, United States Code, for eligible years of service completed on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
